The Schmitter and Healthy Dining Options at a Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and 76ers Games

The Schmitter and Healthy Dining Options at a Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and 76ers Games

The Schmitter, originally created at McNally's Tavern in Chestnut Hill, is one of the specialty concessions served at Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.  It consists of three slices of cheese, sliced steak, fried onions, grilled salami, tomatoes, and special sauce.

What are some of your favorite decadent or healthy dining options when going to a Phillies, Eagles, 76ers or Flyers game?

I gotta have Chickie's Crab Fries whenever I go to a Phillies game, its a tradition. We also stop at Pat's Steaks in South Philly on the way to the game!!!!

The 'All You Can Eat' Sixers tickets that they've had for the past few seasons are a great deal but none of the food that you can get with your ticket is all that healthy (nachos, hot dogs, ice cream, soda, pop corn, soft pretzels, etc).

Better to think about the Schmitter than the Phillies heartbreaking loss to the Cards:-( I think the Chickie's & Pete's concessions are the best - Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood favorite!
