There's no better place to celebrate America's birthday than America's very own birthplace: Philadelphia. The day begins with a daylong Party on the Parkway, from 20th Street all the way to Eakins Oval. Benjamin Franklin Parkway will be packed with blocks of delicious food, live entertainment, interactive fun, and much more.
This all leads up to the Fourth of July Jam and Grand Finale Fireworks at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, this year's concert will feature performances by John Mayer, Neo, Demi Lovato, The Roots, and many more. The evening ends with a fireworks finale over the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This is the "Largest Free Concert" in the country and one event you sure don't want to miss!
The Hispanic Fiesta at Penn's Landing is a fun-filled, two-day showcase of Latino culture held at Philadelphia's premier waterfront location, Penn's Landing Great Plaza. Founded by Concilio in 1981, the Hispanic Fiesta is one of the most popular and best-attended events at Penn's Landing.
This regional celebration features music, dance, entertainment, ethnic foods and artisan crafts from Puerto Rico and many Latin American countries. Sit back and enjoy and afternoon of multicultural rhythms and melodious harmonies of salsa, merengue, bachata, samba, cumbia, mariachi and flamenco. This is a true family event for children and adults of all ages.
Aria is a sponsor of "The Health Corner" during this event so be sure to stop by for health information and screenings.
Celebrate in the streets of Northern Liberties during the fourth annual 2nd Street Festival. Every August, thousands pack into the seven-block stretch of North 2nd Street between Germantown Avenue and Spring Garden for a day of music, food, beer gardens, art, workshops, and vendors of all kinds. This massive bock party features four stages of live music, hand selected by the Philadelphia Folksong Society.
Local restaurants will also open their doors for the daylong celebration. There will also be plenty of family friendly activities including arts and crafts and carnival games.
Come out to Penn's Landing for a day full of island culture at the Philadelphia Caribbean Festival. This rich celebration of fourteen Caribbean islands will treat you to wholesome family fun, with a line up of authentic island sounds of reggae, hip-hop, gospel, poetry, island skits and creative on-stage dances.
There will be something for everyone to do in the marketplace of Caribbean fashions, souvenirs, arts and crafts, and a children's corner, including an African/Caribbean children's village enactment and maypole dancing. Don't miss out on your chance to experience island culture and taste authentic island cuisine.
