What Was Your Favorite Costume?

What Was Your Favorite Costume?

One of the attractions at the Torresdale Community Day, held Sunday, October 23 at Aria Health-Torresdale from 10-2, will be a Halloween safety demonstration.

Growing up, what was your favorite Halloween costume that you wore?

This is horrible, but I barely recall the Halloween costumes from my childhood. The ones that stand out for me are the ones I have worn as an adult (for handing out candy)...and of course the ones I make my dog wear. So, my vote for my favorite Halloween costume is the fake fur I put around my Brindle Pitbull's neck...she is very shy, so it makes her look like the cowardly lion!

I always had great Halloween costumes thanks to my mother and sister. And always homemade. My favorites were: Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, The Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz and Cleopatra!

I was as GYPSY in High School. I had a pretty dress with red roses all over it. Wore lots of jewelry and with my very long black hair at the time I thought I looked GREAT! Was so much fun!

My favorite childhood costume was the cowgirl outfit my mom made me. My two brothers had cowboy outfits to match and the three of us were our own posse!

My best costume was a red M & M girl as a child with my sister she was a green M & M girl.

The M & M costumes are great, Michell. I remember my sister being a blue one when we were younger.

I always liked making my own costumes, as opposed to buying them. One year I went as Mary Poppins - carpet bag and all!

OK, so this is lame, but I was a ceiling fan last year. I held up a foam finger that had "Go Ceilings!" written on it.
